DVC Point Transfers

Hi all. A few questions:

1.If I buy points from one member and have them transfer the points to another, does the trip have to be within the 7 month window if staying at a resort that isn't the home resort of one of the 2 members?

2.Is it true that Disney does not allow transfer of points that involves money?

When transferring points the points retain their home resort. You can book at that particular resort at 11 months out but can not combine them with another resort for a reservation until the 7 month mark.

Yes, it is DVCs policy that when transferring points no money is involved........but........
