Dvc Point Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I need 270 pts. A lot of people have points for rent/transfer that are under 270. Can DVC members transfer points you pay for among members to accumulate the total number of pts you need?

Or can you only get points for a stay from one member?

I guess the question is, are you a member first of all. If you are, you can only transfer points in or out of your account once a year, so you could only have points transfered from one member.

If you are not, YOU never actually receive points. You are merely allowing another member to book a reservation for you. In this case you could theoritically have two reservations with two different members adn try linking them together. This might allow you to keep from checking out of one room and into another. But, there are also some drawbacks....renting can be worrisome enough, but to deal with two different owners and trying to coordinate to make sure all your dates are available could become complicated.

Gotcha! How do you find out exactly how many points you need for a certain resort for a week?
