DVC Platinum AP offer

The member's website doesn't tell me the info I want to know-when does this offer expire for purchasing a voucher and when does the new voucher have to be activated? My current pass expires in November, but we're not going until April, so I'm not considering a renewal, but a new pass. If I buy a voucher before [when?], I have until [when?] to activate it? DH's AP doesn't expire until February, but I trust I can buy the new voucher before then, and hopefully, not use it until April (last week). Do we have to buy them on-site (since we're headed to WDW in 2 weeks, we could buy them) or can we buy them on-line (which would save us spending the money right now).

Pass must be purchased by January 3, 2018. First use must occur by December 31, 2018.

You can purchase them on-site if you wish. You have to ask for an Exchange Certificate (aka voucher) when you purchase on-site, otherwise they will sell you an activate pass.

If you purchase online or by calling MS, it will automatically be in the form of an Exchange Certificate.
