Just an announcement that I have completed an update to my DVC Planner program that many of you are using.

This is not the update version which will have the full point tracking capability. That update has been delayed and will probably be sometime this summer. This update (version 1.5) is improved over all prior versions.

1. Full 32-bit program instead of the older 16-bit program
2. Better installation program.
3. Context sensitive help file (F1 key)
4. Expanded Tutorials
5. Expand Month display
6. SSR and EPR ready
7. Day-by-Day booking window calculations
8. Reserve multiple DVC resorts for the same day
9. Banking calculator uses combined DVC contracts
10. Tip-of-the-Day
11. Other miscellaneous improvements

To get to the download page click on the link in the signature below.

Also, per board policy, if you have specific individual questions that require specific individual answers please E-mail or PM myself.

If you just want to make general comments to share with others on this board then feel free to post.

Thanks to all who have supported this project, and thanks to the most recent 7-member DVC team (Cap, Deb&Bill, Joe, Mike, Nick, Richard, and Rob) who have helped test the updates and also are helping define the Point Tracking parameters for this summer's release of version 2.0

Don't let Bill(Caskbill) fool anybody, as a member of the 7 man team, Bill did 99.9% of the work

. We just helped out in testing the upgrade.

It is an "excellent program", It is easy to download and use. It is a perfect complement to Dave Fredricks DVC program. Bill's program lets you experiment with different dates and resorts, to see the point differences(studio,1BR,2Br,etc), besides all the improvements he listed above.

As a DVC member I am sure everyone will appreciate all the time and effort Bill has put into this...........thanks Bill!!!;)

Any suggestions for a Mac user???
Go to the download page and from there link to the FAQ's for the only information available for using the program on a MAC.

Install worked flawlessly over version 1. Thanks a bunch, can't wait for version 2.0. Keep up the good work.

I just had to say thank you and how much I appreciate your obvious hard work/effort on a really fantastic program. It was/is instrumental in helping me make my points decision and vacation planning. I highly recommend it. I am also waiting impatiently for the summer. ;)

We have a mixed marriage... DH uses a PC and I use a Mac. Our problem was solved when DH wrote an Excel sheet to track everything. I have MS Office for the Mac (OSX) and can open the file when I like in my own version of Excel. Doesn't help with these little programs, but if you need to track, it's a good way to do it.

What a GREAT Vacation planner. Very easy to use, very intuitive. Great job. Thanks a bunch! :bounce:

Love the 11/7 day by day booking window calendar dates! Great job! Do you still take cash donations for your efforts? ;)

Thanks for comments Sheryl.

BTW, this has always been a labor or love. (I love computers and I love Disney). You might be thinking of Dave Fredrick's program where he set up a pay-pal account for donations.

In all seriousness, if anyone feels some type of payment is deserved, then just add a little something extra next time into that envelope going to your church or favorite charity. That would be payment enough. :D

Thanks Bill- This is a nice planning tool.

UhOh! I'm Logged-in with my DW's name.

Just downloaded this version without any problems. This will be a great help! Thanks so much! (P.S. I would love this program for my Palm Pilot!)

Thanks again,
Nancy :earsgirl:

Thank you for an excellent job!

Didn't Walt have this in the Carousel of Progress 20 years ago??? He'd be proud of our use of Technology!

Now all we need is a way to manage the confirmation numbers for Priority Restaurant reservations! ;)

I agree with you almost all the way Nick & Cindy as another extremely minor player our input was in only in the area of. 0001% on Caskbills team and may have caused more confusion then any worth. But as far as the fun of seeing its development by Caskbills putting it together it was great. Its a fantastic program.

Thanks Bill (Caskbill) you did a Great Job and you gave it to everyone to use for free.

God Bless Your A Great and Very Generous Guy.

Bill& Deb
