DVC Perks???

Hi!

I was wondering what the perks of being a DVC member are. The three I know about are (& these could have changed or been discontinued)....

1. Cash discounted nights when you stay at a DVC resort
2. 10% discount on merchandise when presenting your membership card at a Disney store (at a local mall or catalog outlet).
3. 10% off length of stay passes when purchased at check-in

I'm wondering what other perks there are that I don't know about. I've been a member since 1992, & it wasn't until last year that I found out about the cash discounted nights (a huge savings for weekend nights!).

Is there something else I'm missing???

When you check into your DVC resort at WDW you will receive a current list of perks. There 20% discounts at some EPCOT full service restaurants for lunch, 20% off several Dolphin/Swan restaurants, 10% of several other restaurants, free valet parking at DVC resorts that offer valet parking (please tip) and several other minor miscellaneous perks.

There is no DVC discount on catalog sales.

We used a number of perks on our stay last week.

Got 15% off the Segway tour - awesome experience.

Got 10% off dinner at Yachtsman Steakhouse.

Pool hopping is the only real perk left, the rest are discounts on purhases, meals, etc, things to get you to go to spend money. DVC calls discounts perks.

...BUT the DVC discount is honored at the Disney Catalog Outlet Stores, just like at The Disney Store.
