DVC Parking Fees???

Hi All - WDW Vet but brand new DVC owner!

I think I read somewhere that DVC members aren't charged for the nightly parking fee. Am I correct or did I misunderstand? Does it matter if we are staying cash vs. points? This upcoming trip was already booked before we decided to purchase, so this is a cash trip but at our home resort.

Hi! Unfortunately, you have to be staying on points to avoid the parking fee. Cash guests at DVC resorts get charged the fee.

I say that to say this though, my wife and I have stayed 3 times as cash guests since purchasing DVC (all 3 times at moderate resorts) and have only ACTUALLY been charged the parking fee once. The other two times I never saw it on my bill and just didn't say anything about it. Maybe you will get lucky too!

WELCOME HOME, as a member you may be able to get the unit at 25% off list, if it's available on a cash with DVC. Call and see if that will be a better price than booking through CRO or whom ever you booked with.
