DVC Park Tickets

What site do you use for discounted passes? We are still trying to figure out what is the best way to go with passes. Thanks.

at www.mousesavers.com sign up for the monthly newsletter. There will be links when you receive it on the 15th of each month to Undercovertourist with the deepest discounts I can find. Also these are comparable to AAA here in New England, but offer many more permutations than AAA.

Sometimes we have APs and sometimes we have 10 day non-expiring passhoppers with water parks and more. But right now we have 9 minor parks admissions, so our next ticket might just be a 10 day non-expiring park hopper.

This is the site I use also. I have had the tickets sent to my hotel room, when I did not order in time to have them sent to my house, then I have had them sent to my house. We have used undercovertourist at least 3 times that I can count right off hand. They are cheaper through the link on the mousesavers site. I usually buy extra tickets, so the next time Disney has a price increase, I have a extra ticket or two.

Interesting - this thread actually inspired me to take another look at ticket prices. We're going for 10 days in August, and it looks like the cost of a 10-day park hopper would be $287.56, while the DVC cost of an annual pass is $370.62.

It's kinda worth the extra 80 bucks to just take the chance that we'll return during the next 12 months, although we don't have any concrete plans yet. Interesting.

We have 5 children and never took them out of school. The way we worked the annual passes was go about 2 weeks earlier every other year. e.g. Aug 1 to 10 in 2005 and then July 15 to 25 the next year. That way we got 2 trips out of the AP's. My DH and I still do that now that the kids are adults and it's usually only the two of us. If you eat out, the discount on food with the Disney Dining Experience Card is great too.
Lizanne, I'll give that some thought. I've never experienced teh dreaded Brazilian tour groups in July, which does give me pause!! We have season passes to Busch Gardens here in Va, which gives us free admission to BG Tampa, and Sea World. Then we bought the 7 day pass to Universal for $86 on this website. I was really impressed with Universal, it was much nicer than I'd expected.

:goodvibes Yes I think that the DVC AP's are the way to go if you go once a year for at least 7 days....then just go a week or so earlier the next year to get another trip out of your AP's. We bought AP's last Aug. 16th.......we got that week out of our AP's. Then we went back in Nov. and got another 8 days, then just the kids and I went back in Jan. for a few nights and used the AP's and we leave in 8 days for our 14 day trip. I would say ....we used the heck out of them.

I would really like to see a DVC discount on MYW tickets.

I no longer have to look for the best price for the room because we have points to use, and have added on several times.

I would like to buy my tickets from Disney and know that this is the best price out there and not spend additional time researching the price.
