We just made out deposit over the phone last Thursday 2/05/09. How long does it take for us to get our paperwork?

Start to finish... deposit to the deed being filed with the state of Florida...any estimate?

around 10 to 14 days to get the paper work.

the paper work has a closing date - if you return everything quickly - it won't be later than the closing date (it could be earlier)

you can use your points NOW.

I'm assuming that you bought from Disney? If so you are members now. Call your Guide and get your member info over the phone. Then call MS and verify that your account is set up, make your first reservation and get your website log in info.

You don't need for your paperwork to be completed to make a reservation. County recording can take months.

Yes, I did buy through Disney. The reason I ask is because I was told I could not book my cruise until I received the cruise certificate. I will receive the cruise certificate once everything is filed?

I bought directly through Disney in Nov and I distinctly remember that I only had 7-10 days to return all of the paperwork, certain pages needed to be notarized and include my check for direct withdrawal from my checking account. I received all of the paperwork really quick and even remember thinking that I was glad I had someone in the family who owns DVC because it seems like they move you through the process very fast (not much time to let it sink in.)
