DVC PAP lodging discount

We have an unactivated PAP. We will activate it Dec 9, 2014. If a annual pass holder discount is available on a room can you book it and get the discount as long as you activate it prior to checking in? Or does it have to be active to make the reservation? We might wanting to add a few days I a DVC stay.

Yes, you can make a reservation before activating your pass but you will need to activate it prior to check in. You can do that at any park or Downtown Disney Guest Relations location.
