The charm is now available for purchase on the Disney Parks app for $60. Free shipping and 10% discount (not sure if its a DVC or Disney Visa discount) plus no sales tax. I bought mine 5 minutes ago for $54 after discounts.

now the discount makes more sense...I ordered for my wife yesterday...wound up paying 54....but showed 9.95 shipping...could not figure out how they came up with that # ...they must have lumped the 10% and 9.95 off for free shipping together.

It's not available at the parks yet or on DS.com website. If you buy it through the app, there's free shipping plus you can use your Disney Visa 10% discount, plus no sales tax. It will be released in the parks on Dec. 8.

So the App is only available in the US....I guess Canadian members are out of luck. So that's fine. It was supposed to be available today on the Members Marketplace....checked this morning it said it would be available today after 11:30am. Just went back on the site and now it says December 8th at 11:30am???????????????? How is it that this is supposed to be for members and is not available to ALL the members at the same time????? That is really stupid.....

Just found this little thread and have the same issue as our Canadian friend above. I'm from the UK and can't use the app either and found the Marketplace has nothing listed, yet? I tried the Live Chat on the DVC site and although the chap was very polite he couldn't provide me any useful information - there is a note on the DVC page to say that it will be available at 'selected retail locations' but he had no info on this.

Maybe I'll give it a try tomorrow (the 8th) but it means trying to get home early from work to my computer to get on at 4.30pm our local time. This was meant to be the special Christmas pressie for my good lady wife - I wonder if she'll accept some new computer games or a nice pair of motorcycle boots, if she's not keen I know I could make use of them ,

The announcement on the DVC member website has always said it would be available in the member marketplace starting December 8th. Good luck tomorrow, lately it seems they have a good amount of stock for new charms, so hopefully you won't have any problem ordering one.

Yep - even worse here...! $54 plus $61.00 to the UK !!!! That's just a little too much even for my darling wife especially if its taking funds away from our next DVC holiday . If we have the cash we'll pick up something DisneyDora when we're over, hopefully next year.

I could not find it at all on the Marketplace after the time they stated and online chat had no idea. I finally downloaded the app and found it real quick. Got my DVC discount, no tax and free shipping so came to $54.00....smjj
