I know that if you want to add the dining plan, you have to purchase a package deal (room, tickets, dining plan). As an owner, since you do not have to purchase a room, can you purchase the dining plan? And if so, is it discounted any from the normal price? Thanks.

I believe you can just purchase it through MS, you don't have to buy tickets. I don't believe there is a discounted rate for DVC members.

There is NOT a discount for DVC members. We pay the same per day cost as any other guest on property. Also, we must request the DDP prior to arrival and it can only be paid on arrival/check in.

One more quick question: I know with the normal dining plan, you have to purchase the plan for each person in the unit/room. As an owner, do you have to do the same or can you purchase say for two adults and just pay for what a child eats. Thanks again.

If you decide to purchase the DDP, you must notify MS at least 48 hours before the start of your vacation. And every guest on your reservation must have the DDP for every night of your reservation. Any children under the age of three do not need the DDP and can eat from your plate or from the buffet line. If, however, you order food for them, you will have to pay for it OOP.
