I’m Australian and bought a small resale contract to allow a visit every 2-3 years. As a resale buyer we can’t use the points for the cruise line, don’t get any DVC discounts and when visiting universal studios I prefer to stay onsite rather than at Disney but the points are enough for the Disney world part of the trip. Aulani is also closer to Australia which is a nice option when we want to save $ on flights. It’s important to me to stay onsite at a nice resort when I visit Disney so it’s worthwhile. If you’re happy in the value resorts or staying offsite then it isn’t worth it. If you like to enjoy resort time at the DVC resorts and can book 7-11 months before you travel then it might be worth the cost. Definitely do the research though. I love DVC but it’s not as flexible as they advertise it to be so you need to be sure it will work for you.

Hi, thank you for your answer, do you think it's a good idea to buy a resale contract fo 4-5 years and resale it after ?
In fact, i don't know if I come every 2 years on Disneyworld but i have Disneyland paris near to my home between our Disney trip.
