DVC online check in

Since I seem to have some sort of cootie condition on the DVC boards I was wondering if you guys could answer a questions. I did my online check in today and I was unable to post any room requests. Is it because it's DVC or that I just have cooties across the board? Thanks

What kind of room requests? All it asked me about for Online Check-in for a standard reservation was if I wanted 1st floor and if I needed an accessible room. Other than that, there were no other options.

Not requests I guess, more like preferences. There's a button that I'm able to click on but it doesn't let me type anything. Frustrating

That sort of thing drives me mad. I'm sorry, I can't help. I know the online check in feature is there, but I've not tried to use it.

I have used online check in with other hotels (Hilton chains) and didn't really see where the effort did much for me. If I'm insistent upon having a certain floor (some hotels-I do insist) then I'll do it, otherwise, meh. What's the advantage?

Hope it goes well for you. Oh, and the cootie thing? Don't worry about it. The DVC board used to be quite the place, but it's changed over the years. Too bad too. Used to be fun there.

I did online check in for BWV in the spring and it worked well. Everything was ready when I arrived and my room requests were met. They handed me a folder and keys as soon as I walked up to the desk.

I would call member services and add any requests you have to the reservation. Can't hurt.

Well I did call MS and they said since the online check in is really for cash customers DVCers always run into the glitch. But they happily took my preferences down. Thanks guys
