DVC online booking site goes down during point borrowing

For crying out loud.

I'm trying to book two studios at OKW for DH and I in one room, and my two sisters in the other for April. Did not appear I could make reservations for two studios at the same time, so I made the reservation for our first studio for DH and me...great. I start the second reservation for my sisters, and have just clicked "borrow points" and then I get an error message saying the site has gone down for "maintenance."

Where in the world am I going to be when the site comes back up? I was literally in the middle of a borrowing transaction (after the point where it says the borrowing transaction is permanent but before it confirms the points have been borrowed.)

Has anyone else been in the midst of a borrow/bank when the site went down? Now when you go it just says its down for maintenance and come back later. Argh.

It is working fine for me. Close your browser and try again. It will show if points have been borrowed.

Closed browser, tried for an hour, no luck. Tried on another computer, same site unavailable message. Then, almost two hours later, it started working again on the original laptop.

Started the process again and was able to get the reservation. The borrowed points had not been taken, even though I'd clicked the point of no return button. Unnerving to have the site go down smack in the middle of a borrow transaction. Everything's ok now, thank goodness, and I get to treat my sisters to a very special birthday/reunion weekend!
