DVC/OKW Meeting in December

We will be staying at OKW the week of the annual meeting in December. Is it worthwhile to attend the meeting and are you allowed to speak on issues such as discounts on tickets, etc. Thanks.

The meetings are very informative and worth attending.

They meetings are pretty structured, but opportunity is provided for members to ask questions after the business meeting. Don't expect an open debate on any issues however.

If you will be there, definitely plan to attend. Attendance is usually not over 150 members.

According to the Fall 2002 issue of the Vacation Magic, the 2002 Annual Condominium Association Meeting for OKW will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2002 at 10am. You are to check at the front desk for the location.

The Annual Meetings for the onsite resorts have usually been held at the BW Convention Center on the BWI side of the resort.

As CarolMN mentioned, you should check with the desk at each resort to be certain of the location.

If you are unable to attend the meeting of your home resort, you may still go to one of the other meetings. The information discussed at each meeting has some general DVC information and then plans specific to the resort of the meeting.

I went to my first OKW condo board meeting last year. I was glad that I took time out of my vacation to attend. The Q&A session was interesting, but as I expected, nothing really Earth shattering was revealed during the meeting. Since I'll be at WDW during the meeting again this year, I might just drop in again to see what's new. I'll have to start thinking about what question to ask.
