Just wondering if there are any DVC'ers out there from NC. We live in Greensboro and joined in November 2004. Taking our first trip to our home resort after Christmas!

Thought we could have a running count too!

#9, We live in North Wilkesboro, NC in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mtns. HHI is our home resort and we have been members since 2005. We have stayed at HHI & OKW and loved them both. Best investment for family fun that we have ever made. Can't wait to decide where to stay next year.

We bought into BWV in 1998 and added some in 1999. Best move I ever made, apart from getting married (at Seabreeze Point)!

#12 Oxford, NC. We bought at SSR in June 2004. No regrets - one of the best things we ever did.. Would love buy into AKV.

#13 High Point, NC. We became OKW owners in 2005. Can't wait until December to celebrate my 40th birthday with my family at Boardwalk Villas.

Not an owner yet but should be by June 2007 when we can pay it in cash- probably buying OKW resale but we want to see how the point breakdown is for AKV- we adore AKL and this might push us to buying direct from Disney as SSR didn't.

SSR owner since 2003- looking to add on in a year or so at WL Villas.
One of our best decisions also! So far we have stayed at SSR twice, BCV once, OKW once and VWL this December.
DisnNut- we have a dear friend in N.Wilkesboro and think the area is so beautiful! Of course, most beach people love the mountains and the mountain folk love the beach!

SSR owners since 2004 visit home in 2005 for first time.
My first contact with DVC was in 1995, but unfortunately was not the right time. I have in my room the picture they used to give, the one on a ballon over OKW with Donald and Daisy. Who has one of those? Took me 10 years but finally did it and I love it.
What other club give you 365 days of excitement?

# 16 We're in Salisbury. Own at BWV and are going home for the first time on New Year's Day for about 5 days. We've been enjoying HHI very much!!! But can't wait to go home.

UNCW1989, is that when you were there or graduated???? I was there from 87 through 89 and transferred to Chapel Hill. But my heart was always in Wilmington . That's why we vacation at Wrightsville Beach every year and when we are not going to HHI or WDW!!! Our plans are to retire there sometime.....

#17 We are from Hendersonville NC. Bought SSR Oct 2005. Trying to convince my wife to purchase Animal Kingdom when it starts selling, but we are in the process of buying a log home. Oh well may have to sell SSR to buy the house NOT !!!
