well i paid my deposit on saturday and now i am waiting for my contract to come in the mail. my buy month will be april. after i paid the deposit i was told that i amde a good choice of doing it now cause the current offer may end this week. what should i expect now?

You should expect a box to come in the mail, with all sorts of documents for you to read. Then they'll ask you to sign on the Mickey heads and date the Palm trees, and you'll be off and running!

how long does it take to get the official word from disney?

Once we turned in the paperwork, we found out within about a week. Might take up to ten days or so, depending on how busy they are. Congrats!

Congratulations and Welcome Home!

You should receive your documents FedEx within a week. You'll have one week to sigh and notarize the papers. A week or 2 after that you'll get your copies, and an acceptance letter, if you financed. 90-120 days later you'll receive your permanent member cards. You can make reservations now with your points, as you made your initial downpayment, but can't travel until your use year (April 2005 I assume). Enjoy your DVC!
