DVC Moonlight Magic additional dates?

So, this is our first trip since learning about the Moonlight Magic events, and have been looking into the dates they have available. Does anybody know if these are likely the only dates they will have, or if instead these are like park hours that get tweaked constantly until the last minute...? We will be there from June 12-19 and the only one they have scheduled near our trip is a waterpark event. This doesnt really interest us, but we were hoping for something in an actual park. What has been the previous likelihood of adding dates, especially for MK, after the initial slate of options becomes available?

Back in December they implied that something may still be added for 2018. Right now December ‘18 is the only month this year with no event confirmed.

That said, since there is a Typhoon Lagoon event on June 11, I’d say there is virtually zero chance of anything being added for the following week.

Of course there is nothing in December. That is when we vacation most years.

We went to the Typhoon Lagoon event last summer - it was fun to get to participate and meant we didn't have to spend anything extra for a waterpark. This year seems to be planned out the same as last year. One park at a time. These events are spread out throughout the entire year and rotate through all of the parks. The waterpark is still a park even tho it's not a "main gate". I would say they will not be adding any other nights during your trip dates so if you want to go to a Moonlight Madness night you need to plan for the one at TL (and book it the day it opens bcuz it probably WILL "sell out"). This year we will be there in July for one of the Epcot ones. Not our first choice of parks but it's what we got to work with. I liked that the TL one started earlier in the evening. At the other parks they start much later as they wait for closing...

For what it’s worth wife and I attended the Moonlight Magic at MK ON February 6th. We attended the DVC Executives meet and greet. I asked about one for the month of Dec. and was told that they were currently working on possibly 2 dates for the month.

That would be awesome. We are going right before Christmas and would love to participate! I hope they announce the dates soon though.

I am so excited to read there is a glimmer of hope for a December MM. There was one last year in early December at EPCOT.I feel like they would need to announce it atleast 6 months out, no? Also to OP, its hard to say what has been done in the past because MM is a new thing.
