DVC monrail resort

One of those rumors I always see floating around here is that the grounds that the Poly is on cannot withstand more building. So, I think changes there won't be happening - but we can certainly dream!!!

I've heard that, too. One of these days, we're going to log on to the DIS, and find out that the entire MK Theme Park and Resorts have disappeared into the ground....

if they put on near the Polyn - I would expect it to be like the DI - tear down some of the older building...

but hey I just don't think that will happen.

the Cont on the other hand needs an upgrade - several in fact.

this is a wish list!!!

if DVC is adding to another resort - they don't need that many rooms - both VWL and BCV are little compared to OKW or BWV.

however I would not expect any Grande villa - they take up too much space and there are times when they go unused. At the Cont that would be too expensive.

there isn't any available room close to the Polyn - golf course on one side, parking lot for the MK on the other, another parking lot, wedding chappel and water.

to add to the Polyn - one of the standing building would have to be removed. (my opinion - doesn't mean anything - besides we have seem WDW pull off this type of thing before)

if there was an DVC addition to the Polyn - I would think it would be across the street - in the MK parking lot.

I'm not at all interested in a monorail resort, so the last choice was for me!

Love to see DVC at the Poly.

I know that Disney could make this a great DVC. The price might go higher because of the monorail, but not as high as one might expect from the Poly or GF. Improved themeing would not be difficult, and many of us have an affection for the Contemporary because it already holds some of our fondest memories.
