I don’t know the answer to this as I used the AP discount, but if you log in right now to MDE you can test this out as the ticket sales are live. Just add them to your cart and see what the price is before you click to purchase them.
Reportedly, the last discounted night is 10/7.I am not seeing the discount when I try to buy tickets. I have a reservation and my mobile wallet is DVC-Y. For October 10th.
That's Columbus Day, a school holiday for many southern schools. Some have that entire week as their fall break. I'm surprised to see a discount on 10/7, the Friday night of the Holiday weekend.I am not seeing the discount when I try to buy tickets. I have a reservation and my mobile wallet is DVC-Y. For October 10th.
I called the ticket line.... after 40 minutes on hold I can confirm, the last night for Annual Pass or DVC discount is 10/7. The $10 discount is not available for any of the parties after 10/7. Now I know the details behind "Available some nights". They could have avoided a phone call to park reservation/ticketing and I would have just bought the tickets online if they would just add the small print somewhere on the web.....Reportedly, the last discounted night is 10/7.
The dates are available online. Log in, go to the ticket site (or go to the ticket site and login). No discounts after 10/7 so no reason to have an option.View attachment 668866
Sorry.... I may be missing something, but I don't see an option to select which price (regular or DVC). I did call the ticket line and confirm I am eligible for the discount, but no discount is available on the 10th. But my resort reservation only qualifies me for non-discounted nights. Maybe if I had another reservation, or my reservation was longer (included the 7th), I would see that option. Possibly in a few days when tickets are available to guests without reservations, then I will see the difference?
Other then to let me know that all nights after 10/7 are not eligible for the discount.... Now I know that, and now I know why there is not an option. But before my phone call all I know was the discount was available some nights and I could buy tickets for the 10th and 11th. Was the discount not available those nights? Did I need to call to get the discount? Was there an IT issue with my account not giving me the discount? Adding detail to the statement "Annual Pass and DVC discounts available some night" would help avoid phone calls. Disney can't get enough CM's, hold times are ridiculous, by simply giving the detail as to what is meant by "available some nights" and share that with everyone will avoid phone calls. I spend 40 minutes on hold and then 15-20 on the line with a CM. I would have done everything 100% online and never called if they had shared the specific with me. That CM could have been helping someone who needed to speak with a CM, rather than me.No discounts after 10/7 so no reason to have an option.

Depends on if they offer the 2 pm early entry for DVC members this year.I am a new Blue Card DVC owner. I have a room reservations for August dates of the party. Does that mean we can gain entry to the park at 2? Or is it 4 for everyone?
