I received a letter yesterday from DVC to remind me that thet were unable to close my AKV contract because they didnt get my docs in. I called a quality assurance manager and told him it was fed exed on Sept 18! My package was then tracked they seen that they recieved it Sept 19! I was told it must be misfiled and that she would investigate and call me back. She never did call yesterday. Has this happened to anyone else? What do you think they will do if they cant find it? I hope everything will work out. Im afraid my ressies will be cancled.:scared:

They will work it out. Have they received your payments? Paperwork does get mislaid. They'll correct it, but you may have to resign if they can't find anything. They aren't really quick at the 'correction' aspect of customer service but I did always find them good at 'making a note on my file' so that I had no difficulty with the regular calls to member services.

Just keep checking and I am sure it will work out.

Well, they have recieved $500 from me, but part of what I signed in my contract was an authorization for them to use $1280 toward down payment~as this was part of the AKV incentative that was going on last month. So that money cant be applied until they find they paperwork.

When there is a problem it often takes a day or 2 for DVC to find out what went wrong, so you should be getting a call early next week. If not call.

That happened to my parents on their cruise this past May. They signed up for an add-on, gave credit card info and everything, but never got anything in the mail. My parents watched the guy enter the information on the computer. They went back to ask him something the next day, and he even pulled the information up for them onscreen. DVC claims they never saw any paperwork, and their credit card was never charged. By the time they called and asked about it, the incentives that motivated them to buy were no longer available, so they just let it go. They also lost out on three referrals that "didn't show up in the system". My dad is still jumping through hoops and red tape to find out what happened.

So the only advice I can give is to be vigilant, get the names of everyone you talk to, and push for a resolution as quickly as possible. You will get the runaround of your life if you let them.

I never recieved a return call, but a new packet of forms arrived with a fed ex envelope. Unfortuantly 3 pages were missing.1 for my 500 gift card. 2. the authorization form for them to apply $1280 toward my down payment. I called quality assurance and they are sending the missing forms. I guess then I will sign, go to the notary and attempt this again:sad2: I was told that my info would be safely disposed of if it is found later and she appologized for the loss of my info.
