DVC Mike live from VWL/Poly (12/6-12/18/08)

Mike, I don't know what you do for a living, but are they hiring! LOL! Everest looks amazing, haven't been to Animal Kingdom since '02 though.

We had a nice meal at Narcoossee's tonight. We then went over to the Poly and watched Wishes from the beach.

Tomorrow morning, we check out of VWL and check in at the Poly. We then head home on Thursday morning.

Can't believe your trip is already coming to an end - that is the worst part! I hope you enjoy your nights at the Poly. What a beautiful hotel. Have fun!!

We have a late breakfast at Kona Cafe as we move over to the Polynesian today.

Tonight is dinner at Ohana and tomorrow night is the Spirit of Aloha Luau.

I think I'll signoff now. We have had a great trip and are looking forward to returning in March.

5 inches of snow fell in Chicago last night during rush hour. It was a 3 1/2hr commute to get home.

You bet I am dreaming of WDW today.

Great report and pics! We were there some of the same time you were (12-6 to 12-12) and have some of the same pics. The decorations are amazing--especially the gingerbread ones!

Got back home this afternoon.

We loved our room at the Poly -- especially the view! There won't be a DVC with a view this good until BLT opens.

That is a gorgeous view! I'll be honest, I've never had any desire to stay at the Poly (GF is more my style), but that view with the lake and tropical vegitation might be enough to change my mind!
