Mike -

Thanks for the pics and updates. You were so nice to Jillpie! :goodvibes I was in the CP a few years ago, and it would have been great for my mom to have a "view" of me without being there.

Glad you are enjoying your trip. I hope your wife had a nice massage!! :thumbsup2

P.S. I'm not a huge fan of DHS either - the layout doesn't work for me!

Hey Mike

I had sent out a notice on the theme parks board hoping for the same thing with my daughter.

We are going down the end of March to see her but she is taking all those days off so I won't get to see her in costume.

If you would happen to see a Bethany in Tomorrowland gift shops it would be greatly appreciated if you could post a pic of her.

I am not expecting you make any special effort to find her, but if you would happen to cross paths. I am wanting a pic to put on my computer at work so I can show off my daughter the cast member.

Sunday - Enchanted
Monday - Ratatouille
Tuesday - New Release Night
Wednesday - Monsters, Inc.
Thursday - WALL-E

Mike,

Thanks so much for posting. One quick question. Do you know what time the movies are at Beach Club?

Hi Mike, I'm enjoying your live report. We'll be staying at the BWV after Thanksgiving. My DS will be 4 then and I wondered if you could take some pictures of the playground at BWV. I didn't know they had a playground until I noticed what appeared to be a playground when looking at one of those sites like google earth and I haven't been able to find any pictures.

Thanks so much for your report. I look forward to your dining reviews too. We have Jiko planned for our trip too, although not twice...you must really  it! Enjoy your trip. :goodvibes

Happy Birthday a little late....
What a wonderful thing to do for a mom...you are one nice person.:goodvibes

Wow, more great pictures! Thank you for sharing them with us! How cool that your wife got a great massage and you got to enjoy your afternoon helping out a dis'er!! Too cool!

Going as often as you do, how much planning do you do for your trips? Obviously you plan enough to get ADR's for dining, but do you pretty much wing it from there? I was just looking for a perspective from such a frequent traveler.

The only planning I do involved two steps:

1) Book the room exactly 11 months in advance, and
2) Book all my ADRs exactly 90 days in advance

Besides that, I pretty much wing it day by day. For example, I have no plans for tomorrow. I'll see what I want to do when I wake up!

We picked up our neighbors at SSR and brought them to BWV. We walked into Epcot and had dinner at Coral Reef. I had the Lobster soup and the Mahi Mahi. It was pretty good.

Rode Soarin' and Mission Space after, watched Illuminations, and then spent some time on the boardwalk.

All in all -- another good day at Disney.

Mike,

I am amazed at your very relaxing Disney Vacation! Love the way you do this! I must ask... right now with 5 kids for us ages 17 to 7 we will be excited to get there and let the kids enjoy all attractions they love over anything else- My motive for buying into DVC included that but also excatly the way yur wife and you vacation- How long had you been a DVC owner before you all started traveling there so relaxed? I really envy your style! & love the pics! & think you are an angel to surprise jillpie w/ a pic of her son! That is true magic and you were a huge part of that for her! A true Disney Lover you are! I am honored to live in the same state as you! :goodvibes

Hey Mike, I just wanted to say one last time, thanks a million for making my day. You didn't have to take the time out of your vacation to do that for me, it just was so nice. I hope you have the best vacation ever.:)

I'm enjoying your TR. We are spending 13 days at OKW in May, and I am so excited for all the pictures, food, and relaxation! I admit, we plan more than you (okay, a LOT more ;)), but it's still so fun to live through other DISer's reports. Your shorts are great and really create that Disney-lovin'-feelin'!

Hey Mike, thanks for taking time to take all the pics and keep us all posted, and for going out of your way for your fellow DISboarders. :goodvibes

Hey Mike - what an awesome live report. I love the pics you've put up. I was at DHS today myself, but in the later part of the day. Actually I was at all of the parks but MK, plus DTD and BB for a short while, and took a walk on the Boardwalk and ran over this morning to visit the animals on the savannah at my home resort (needless to say it was a crazy full day) - and yes, DHS was very full this evening. I leave the world tomorrow for the "business" part of my trip down here - but I look forward to reading more about your trip, and seeing more great pictures of your stay. Awesome stuff! Enjoy the rest of your stay. :)

Mike....
I'm enjoying reading all about your trip. Your photos are wonderful. And what a nice guy you are to track down Jillpie's ds.
Continue to have a great time in the World..........:cool1:

So glad I found this report. You take great pics :yay: wow such a nice thing you did for Jillpie.

Thanks for the great pictures Mike. Really enjoying them.

Very nice of you to find Jillpie's ds and taking a picture.

Enjoy and looking forward to more of course.

Love this trip report:thumbsup2 . I am with you about planning ahead, only DH and I don't usually worry about ADRs, we make our room reservations either at the 11 or 7 month window and wing it the rest of the way. When we go to VB our planning involved deciding if we are going to the beach or the pool that morning, though usually the beach wins out. :beach:
Look forward to reading about the rest of your trip.
