Still a great TR even reading in from Kidani. The weather today is almost "perfect".

We went over to visit the Wilderness Lodge to take a peek at the tree.

We then wandered over to Downtown Disney to do a bit of shopping. It was very crowded (it being a Saturday).

Yes, the weather today is great!

Now that is just nasty, rubbing it in. Here is our deck right now. The yardstick says 18 inches and we are supposed to get at least 5 or 6 more inches. Low tonight -5°F with 25 - 35 mi/hr winds. Wind chill temperatures will be -25°F. Last week at this time we were playing mini-golf at Winter Summerland.

Well, our 8-night stay at BLT is drawing to a close.

It's a shot of BLT I took tonight from the Contemporary. I must go start packing up, as we leave tomorrow morning.

DH and I got back last night from our 10 day stay. I thoroughly enjoyed your TR and it helped me see many of the details I missed while there. We are hopefully headed back in May and definitely in Oct 2011. DVC is trully a blessing for us and for the first time in a long time, we enjoyed relaxing at WDW. Thanks DVC Mike for making my Saturday evening a joyful one!! Merry Christmas and safe travels tomorrow as you head home.

Funny you should say that. I am still at WDW and I'm feeling DEPRESSED that I won't be seeing Mike's report and pictures anymore.

Well, we made it home safely. The drive was mostly uneventful - just some rain and an accident that took place close to home when a car next to us rear-ended the car in front of it. Just a fender-bender (no one was hurt).

I'm really going to miss that fabulous Magic Kingdom view room at Bay Lake Tower. We'll be back in the same room/view next December!

In the meantime, I've got:

• 83 days until our stay at the Boardwalk Villas
• 153 days until our stay at the Villas at the Grand Californian in Disneyland
• 314 days until our stay at the Beach Club Villas

Bay Lake Tower - the 10mm ultra-wide-angle lens shows the expansive view from our room, while making everything appear much farther away than it actually is with the naked eye.

Thanks for another wonderful trip report! We were in a MK view room at BLT last December and reading your TR this week was the next best thing to being there again ourselves! I love your last picture, as I couldn't get enough of the view of the whole seven seas lagoon area while we were there. It felt like we were always part of the action even while just relaxing in the room. Glad you had a great trip and safe journey back home.

We were there the 4th to 11th too, and I feel the same way!
