DVC merchandise

Where and how do you order DVC merchandise besides in a resort?

I have read about the watches before, but where do you get them from? Is there some sort of catalog that you can look through??

There is no catalog. You can call the gift shops at the resorts and have an item mailed to you (sometimes people get grief over this from the shops), but there is no catalog to "see" the items.

Believe it or not: Ebay.

Surf over there, type in "Disney Vacation Club," and you might be amazed at what pops up.

Ebay is the only real place I have found any good shopping. I periodically contact the website and beg for a shopping page, though. Hasnt worked yet.

How did everyone get their watches?? Are they sold at DVC resorts?

Yes, they were sold at the rsorts. We ordered ours during a stay at HHI and a couple of months later a cast member called to say they would be shipped.

This is one area that I have always felt that Disney (the merchandising king of America) has missed the boat on. I think it was Doc who said once that early on there used to be a DVC Merchandise catalog that was discontinued. Now that there are 85K+ members, you would think that they would try that again or at least an on-line site.

The DVC watches were a limited edition so I'm not sure if you can still get them. I ordered mine over the phone back in November from the gift shop at BWV after hearing on these boards that they had them.
