DVC Merchandise

Per other posts, maybe we can help DVC, what type of merchandise are you looking for on DVC merchandise?

Hats and bags would be good so would T shirts and shorts and napsacks. I could use a good DVC coffee cup to.

I would like to see a polo shirt for women. The ones they have are sized for men.

I would like to see a variety of nice shirts with DVC logos.

I would also like to see a variety of logo items for each individual resort. My home resort is BCV and I would like to see a lot more BCV items. I would also like to buy a bunch of stuff from the other resorts.

And, since I am a selfish "ME, ME, ME" kind of guy, I would like to see Mickey Mouse incorporated into each of the resort logo items.

I find the stuff that I am looking for but think it is too expensive or has a cheesy slogan such as members are magical on it

US$52 for a polo shirt works out to C$71 which in either currency is too much

We bought Members are Magical coffee mugs at OKW and they had them at VB, they do bring smiles to our faces in the mornings.

stuff that is fun and cheap so I don't have to worry about keeping it in good condition. If an item turns out to serve a useful purpose, I can't pass it up.

For those reasons, I'd love to see fridge magnets (I collect them), beer koozies (foam rubber thingies that insulate cold cans), coffee mugs, visors, and beach towels. I doubt I'll ever buy logo'd apparel..just too overpriced for my clothing budget. I'm really not into trading pins, either.

Once in a while I'll buy a Christmas ornament as a vacation souvenir, but that's about as far as I go toward fragile keepsakes.

I have to agree with the shirts for women. I would also like to see bathing suits. A few years ago my DH and DS got a men's suit but nothing for women.

I sure hope the folks from DVC are reading this. Some great suggestions here.

I originally posted this because I have always felt that they do not have enough good DVC logo merchandise. Obviously if 25% of the respondants say they would like more DVC shirts, I think someone should pay attention.

I also think the DVC backpack (for the park) would be a fantastic idea and they would get many buyers.

I personally love (and collect hats). I sure hope they make some more DVC hats.

I'd add license plates to plate frames...not all states and commonwealths require a front plate and we've got two cars but only one DVC plate.

As far as other stuff goes, I believe in magic, but am decidedly not magical, except maybe when I eat too much Korean BBQ.

I voted for shirts and license plate frames. We've moved to a state that requires front tags and I had to take the DVC tag off. I have three DVC shirts and my DH has two, but we could always use more! We bought the metal insulated travel DVC mugs at OKW last year and use them daily. I understand they used to have a DVC catalog. I'm always more inclined to buy DVC items than regular Disney stuff. I have noticed they have some cool stuff for DVC CM that I'm sure the members would be interested in.

How about antenna toppers! Now they would make a killing on those. I would love a nice visor, much cooler than a baseball hat. Hope the DVC upper management reads this thread.

How about nice jackets for each resort with the logo and name of the resort an please, embroidery "NOT SILK SCREENED" I'll pay the extra for good looking DVC items.

Amen. I'll pay extra, too, for nice embroidered items, but I won't pay extra for the "cheese" (silk screened logos that cover the entire back).

I have been on these boards and a DVC member for 4 years now and the same question always comes up( and I have started it a few times) the selection of MDSE is either poor, or they should make a catalog or have something online. But our voices are never heard because the mdse is always the same
