Maybe Disney just wants to see how DVC items may sell on line.

Nah. If DVC wants me to be a walking billboard, they can give it to me for free.

It is nice that they allow use of Disney Store coupons. That at least brings the prices down a bit. But it's the same stuff available in resort gift shops. Little reason to go out of the way to buy from home.

Clare Bilby the senior vice president in charge of Disney Vacation Club has a sales and distribution marketing background so I expect to see a increase in DVC merchandise.

I purchased the hoodie at the SSR gift shop in June along with a golf shirt (dri fit) for DH with the DVC member logo on it. I was really excited to see the link, however, very disappointed there really wasn't any merchandise. There was quite a bit at SSR in June and we're hoping for more next month.

half of the ink washed off my Aulani mug the first time I ran it thru the dishwasher. Very disappointed.

Yeah, I'm with you there. In 9 years of ownership, I can only think of one time that a resort CM gave me what I would call a "dirty look" and it was about 7 years ago while wearing a Saratoga Springs cap.

My vacation club mug's logo also came off the first time I put in dishwasher. I wasn't too happy about that. I have another and handwash that, and it has been fine. Lesson learned, I guess.

I had the same experience with the logo coming off the mug. I did buy the men's fleece and like it a lot. It's not top notch quality, but not bad.
