DVC merchandise for new members...

Hey all.

We decided to join and got all the paperwork today!!! I took the lithograph and backpack out so DW and DD don't know we have them. I'm going to wrap them up and put them under the tree. In addition to those, I thought it would be fun to get each of us a shirt or something from Saratoga Springs Resort. Does anyone have a number where I can order something like that, and if I do, will it make it to Maine before Christmas? Thanks for all of your help with this as well as all the questions I had before purchasing.
 
Merchandise Mail Order usually doesn't deal in DVC merchandise. Many members have been asking for a mail order outlet, but DVC has yet to deliver (or even show any interest.) According to some of the...ahem...old-timers, they used to offer a few items via mail order. But that was years ago.

You could try getting through to the resort gift shop and see if they would be willing to help. Some members were successful in purchasing members-only watches that way.
 
I had the same issue yesterday. After making several calls I ended up being given the SSR gift shop telephone number. The young lady (Denise) was very helpful. I was able to order several DVC/SSR things for my wife. But, the gift shops were the only place that were able to help me. Normally speaking these places do not sell DVC merchandise online or over the phone. And they did require my member #. The thinking is that Members wouldn't be so magical, if anyone was able to order. If you want I can post back with the # I was given for the gift shop.
 
If you have that number I would love to get it. Hopefully they would be able to help me as well. As I said, I just got the paperwork yesterday (haven't sent anything back yet) would the member number that came with all those papers be good enough to use, or will I have to wait until all the papers are sent in and it's more official? Thanks for your help.
 

The # for SSR gift shop is 407-827-3967. I didn't have my member # either. So I called Member services at 800-********. I told them my dilema, they verified some basic information and then gave me my number. I was able to get an SSR hoody and two trading pins. One with Tink, the other is Mickey in the Sorcerer's hat. Both say "Memebers Are Magical"
