I was wondering if anyone had been able to get a 10% DVC discount at the DTD Lego store. I know the AP holders get it, and I've read somewhere (where?) that DVC members have been getting it too...

Yeah, that's why I'm having such a hard time finding it where I read that DVC members were getting the discount. I did eventually find it on WDWmagic...

Anyhow, now that we get 10% off merchandise, along with all passholders, I'm wondering if the Lego store has been giving the discount to anyone here, even if Lego is not on the list?

No, the Lego store in DtD doesn't give a 10% discount to DVC members. We were just there over Xmas & asked & were told no.

AP holders get the discount? I did not know that.

All Ears shows a 10% discount for AP holders, but it's missing from the disneyworld.com list. Since All Ears is usually pretty up-to-date, I'm thinking the Lego discount was just recently removed, probably at the same time as the 20% merchandise discount for PAP holders.

A google search shows many results of passholders getting a discount at DTD Lego as recently as last month. I only found one mention of a DVC member getting it though (in Sept 2012).

Another benefit gone...

When I was working out the cost of whether the discounted PAP would be worth it for me, I did factor in the 10% discount for Lego (my kids spend all their souvenir money there). Once the 20% was removed, it was no longer financially beneficial, and I was glad I hadn't already bought it...now I'm even happier that I didn't.

We were at the Lego store last week and we received the 10% discount by showing out PAP.
Maybe I will give the AP discount a try. It's worth a shot! DS is a Lego maniac & spends all his souvenir money at the store.

If you are looking for value at the lego store, the "cup full of parts" can be the best value

Yes I about fell over when I saw how much each figure was last time we were there!!!

Wouldn't that be great if you could get a cup of figurines?! DS loves those Ninjago characters.

We joined the Lego VIP club. For every $100 you spend, you get a $5 credit towards a future purchase. Good at all Lego stores and Lego.com

We have gotten $5 credits many, many times...:rotfl:
