DVC members and PIN codes

Correct me if I'm wrong, but DVC members are not offered, or able to use PIN discount codes right? Same with people renting DVC and staying on points right?

DVC Members can use pin codes if they are making a cash reservation thru Disney's Central Reservations. They do no apply to Points Reservations or Member Cash Reservations made thru Member Services.

I don't think one's status as a member has much to do with whether or not you get PIN codes. I get them often. And many members supplement their point stays with cash stays.

The key thing is, you can't apply the PINs to points stays.

There are never discounts on points reservations. There are also no special packages like free dining, buy 4 and get 3 free or kids stay free. You pay whatever is on the points chart.
