However, I am absolutely SHOCKEd and amazed that members cannot look-up availability and book ressies online! This is a HUGE dissapointment...

I'm in my 6th year as a member and I have been SHOCKED and amazed at this since I signed on in 2000. It's coming... ( DVC stock answer for at least last 3 years, but hope springs eternal )

Although I do everything else via internet, I'm not sure I'd want them to move the whole system that way so quickly. We've eben able to get things (ressies, points) moved around by a person that would have never flown through a computer system. If you get the right CM o nthe phone, they can be extra "helpful." So, there are benefits to being manual.

It has a point calculator for estimating trip point "cost". I have used it for over a year, it even saves the estimated trip if you want it to.

What my biggest grip is that the DDP 2008 price link threw me to the page with the entire vacation packages.

I go the DVC one week and find things I am looking for - and a month later it is GONE.

Through their website I had filed a 2 page report on a horrible trip in May and never got a word in response. In August I re-sent the email and was called by GS. They had apologies and no resolutions for the problems. I was assured they would get back to me with the resolution and I have not heard from them since.

Being a Disney Stock Holder, DVC Member and Annual Pass Holder I believe there should be some other perc. In 1996 we got park passes for the length of stay until 12/31/99. In 1999 They promised to do something meaningful and I do not believe the $100. discount on an annual pass is enough.

I have used the Spa discount at Saratoga Springs, sadly the experience was quite like the local hair salon (with fancier building and rooms).

Can anyone decipher the DDE for me? Annual Pass Holders get $20 off the Membership. I understand the benefits are for the member and 6 guests.
Is DDE better or equal to the Annual Pass Holder's dining discount?
