DVC member website down?

Not letting me look at my membership. This is the message I'm currently getting "We are currently unable to access your Disney Vacation Club Membership information while we perform scheduled system activities."

It would be nice if they would have a 24 hour period where the site remains available. This constant up, down, maintenance, etc. is getting a bit ridiculous.

It worked fine for me earlier this morning but yesterday was a roller coaster ride.

Disney thinks that "pretty" is much more important then "function"

If I ran Disney that group would have been fired several years ago. I work with what I think is one of the most incompetent IT shops in America and they actually seem better then Disney LOL!

i just circumvented the troubles getting into the booking area by clicking on account help and going in the back door there.

It seems to be working okay now. It was a little slow at times, but everything came up including online reservations.

Do you have a waitlist? If so, that could be a good thing. Might mean your waitlist came through. Hope so.

I'm getting the same error message. Really starting to get annoyed with this.

I got this error message yesterday. However, as joeyrose says, you might be able to still get to the Vacation Center if you do a bit of "creative clicking".

After you log on, click on the tab for My Membership (on the bar near the top of the page) and select Account Help. After that loads, look for the Vacation Center tab on the left side of the page. Should get you there.

Good luck - although you may not need it since it now appears to be working normally, at least for me.

I've still been getting various different maintenance messages for the past two days but I am able to check for availability by using the drop down tabs if the Vacation Center isn't listed on the main screen. So far today it's working fairly well. I'm afraid to see if they are messing around with my points so I've been avoiding checking on them although I know I need to do that since I've been changing around a lot of reservations and cancelling some.

I think the problem is in the Vacation Center. Hmm...wonder what "enhancements" they are trying to do that's breaking it.

I do have a wait list, but it hasn't come through. I think the problem is that the DVC CM linked my two reservations (2 reservations between 2 contracts). And WDW website can't handle it. It has the same reservation number listed twice, both with the wrong dates!

I've been having issues for several days, too. Yesterday, I could do on-line reservations, but not today. Message keeps saying that my membership info is unavailable due to system maintenance.

Ugh! DVC has the worst excuse for a website! It is always down or half the features are down. Disney with all its technology cannot built a halfway decent website. They should be embarrassed! I can only imagine its one lonely man in India in a shed who's only job is to maintain Disney's entire network of websites.

I also have often had the booking online and vacation center unavailable but if I refresh my screen it comes back. So instead of using the drop down tabs try refreshing the page!
