Hi everyone,

On Wednesday, February 25th at 8:00am, will hundreds, or possibly thousands, of DVC members sign into the DVC member website to book or switch their existing reservations to PVB?

I envision the site being flooded and going down.

That could happen, I am glad we don't have a reservation that we plan to switch to PVB on February 25.

There have been whispers they may take only calls on the three booking dates. We plan to have pcs and phone ready.

I suspect it will be busy with people booking PVB, as well as people hoping availability opens up at other resorts from people switching to PVB.

I wonder if they will make an announcement prior to that date if this is the case. I know it's my intention to try to move our early June trip.

I'll be watching the movement. I would be interested in moving my August reservation if something else opens, but not at PV. I would hate that to be my day to make a reservation. The website will certainly be busy.

I had considered this.....we have 3 nights in early June that we were considering....but now my in laws are joining us so we would need 2 rooms, and I'm not sure I want to spend the extra points. I also was told they are only taking phone calls at first that it won't be available online.....we shall see

YES! If I'm successful, then the first three nights of my 9 nights at BCV will open up for someone else.

I plan on taking off work that day so that I can be on the phone that morning. (Public school teacher who can't get to a phone during the day from 8am-3:45pm so it's the only way I'll be able to make that phone call).

I'll be hoping for this idea -- but taken to an extreme: people moving reservations from the Grand Cal to the Poly! Realistically, I don't expect the Poly to make a significant impact in Grand Cal inventory? Oh, well ... I've got a small bundle of points in holding that I need to clear out by Sept 30th!

What are the 3 booking dates?
I got pneumonia in Dec, and had to cancel my Dec. trip, so I have points in holding too. My first time, and am concerned about being able to use them without moving every other day! I am hoping a lot of May reservations clear out (going to PVB) and move around.

At least one PVB buyer was told that by their guide. I've read it a couple of times but haven't paid close enough attention to recall if it was the same person reporting or different people.

I guess info is wrong, PVB owners can start reservations on 11th, new PVB mamber can make reservation on 18th and rest of owner can start on 25th.

QA wrote on my paperwork that it was phone call only starting on February 11 when it opens for members only, but for February 25 it says phone or online.
