DVC Member Stickers...

Remember a few months ago when DVC sent out those stickers to members to put on thier member card since some of the cards were expiring? I lost mine somewhere at home. My card has no expiration date on it. Is that going to be a big problem when i check in?

Had the same thing. Just call MS and they will send more.

I don't believe they ask for the card when you check in, just a credit card to cover an charges. When you get a discount they don't ask either because they have the room charge card that you get when you check in. I really can not think of any reason to have the card except when you call to make reservations.

Per the member website. If your card has no expiration, you don't need to stickers.

Simply remove a sticker from the mailer and place it over the expiration date on each of your current cards. If your cards don't have an expiration date, no worries - your card is already valid

We never even bring the card to WDW. Your room key should suffice for DVC discounts..........

Except that some of the benefits and discounts are good even if one is not staying at DVC on points and for that you may need your membership card. Things like the restaurant discounts and similar along with the free valet parking would be included in this group.

When we were there just 2 weeks ago, we went into the DVC office to ask about this very thing, as I has lost our stickers. They all laughed and said it didn't matter and that none of them had done it either. When I asked about the discounts, they said it would not be a problem. I can just imagine the hoop la when someone does try to use it for a discount and it is denied though.
