DVC Member parking questions

We are headed to VWL next week and for the first time, we have a rental car. It is my understanding that we will get free valet parking at VWL while staying there (we provide tips). I also understand that we can park free at the parks because we are staying on property (as all on property guests can). However, how would parking at the Poly and Boardwalk work? We are eating breakfast at Kona, so I assume we would get the 3 hour pass? At Boardwalk, we just want to visit it.

You would get free valet at BW (or BC or AKL). You would have to pay for valet at the Poly or self park. They will probably give you the 3 hour pass.
