DVC Member MK Fireworks Cruise.

We booked this cruise just to be certain we wouldn't wait too long and not be able to get it, but I'm looking for more details than are listed on the Member website. All I've been able to learn so far is that when you get to the CR they give you Champagne & Strawberries. The member website alludes to other "delicacies" but so far no luck determining what they are.

My issue is paying $181.50 for two people to ride a boat with a belly fully of strawberries and bubbly. There has to be more to it, right?

Has anyone done this recently that can give details of the event?

A regular Wishes cruise gives chips and pop and water, I assume those are also included in the Member version . The strawberries and champagne are not included in the regular cruise, are an extra expense.

I've not done it with members, I try to join a Disboard group.

A boat for 10 people costs about $400, not including tip. Is gratuity included for members?

Site states $85.00 per person plus tax. No mention of gratuity so I'll assume that will be in addition to my $181.50.

They try to sail with a full boat, depending on the number of takers for your cruise and their break even point, they could cancel your reservation prior to your cruise.

DVC is acting as a re-seller or booking agent.
