Our family trip to WDW is booked for this summer, and we have been making some plans for our park days. On one of our park days, our DS20, his DGF18, and our DS18 will be going to Epcot without us. They will be arriving in the morning and staying until after lunch. I would love for them to be able to use the DVC lounge due to the expected heat, but I'm guessing they would not be able to use one of our membership cards to do that since the membership is not in their names. Is this correct?

If it follows what they do at TOTWL then maybe. If they do MB scanning which would show they are in a member room onsite then they possibly could. But if they require a member card and id then probably not. Likely you'll have to wait for reports and even then it will depend on who is checking credentials. So I wouldn't count on it and just plan on checking that day.

Since the Epcot DVC Lounge will likely be open to all members (not just those staying on property like with TOTWL), a Member ID Card & Photo ID will most likely be required.

I suspect it will at least be similar to the visa lounges at F&W and need the member id- if they find that too many people are using someone else's id then they will require picture ids as well as the card.
