DVC member listing by state?

Wondering if there is a listing of DVC members by state of residence? And how that affects number of points purchased and frequency of visits to WDW/DVC.

I do remember once seeing a listing of how many members were in each state at that time, but don't remember where I saw it.

I do suspect that most members use their points. We have to travel quite a ways (from Minnesota) and still use most of our points each year (380). We usually buy APs and go multiple times in 12 months, then take 13 months off before travelling again.

I'm not sure what effect distance has on number of points. They've published member by state and country charts in the past. The most recent one I can lay my hands on is from sometime in 2000 (Vacation Magic Vol. 9 No. 2). Total membership at that time was given as 45,000. I believe we are now over 65,000. The top 10 states are New York (5,084), New Jersey (4,372), Florida (3,777), Pennsylvania (3,311), Illinois (3,209), Massachusetts (2,669), Michigan (2,196), Ohio (1,819), Connecticut (1,458) and Texas (978). The bottom five states were Alaska (31), Montana (29), North Dakota (26), Wyoming (15), DC (13).

DisneyBill your state of Kentucky has 328 and Diane's Minnesota comes in with 587 members.

UK is the top international location with 1,804 members followed by Canada at 924, Puerto Rico 249, Mexico 142, Argentina 133 and Venezuela 103. There are 67 international locations represented....including 52 from Saudi Arabia, 7 from Kuwait, 7 United Arab Emirates, 3 United Arab Republic, 3 Egypt and 2 from Pakistan. Our own DISer Joe Black has 21 fellow Ecuadorians as DVC members.

Vetteguy -- you are not alone! There are 15 members from Belgium (and this list is out of date so there may be more).

Netherlands and Bermuda are also at 15 members.
