DVC Member Cruise2009??

I was trying to verify that tips were included on this cruise and got this reply from member services today, if anyone wants it confirmed


"hello Roger,

Thank you for contacting Member Services.

Yes, the cash or Reservation Points used for the 2009 S.S. Member Cruise
does include the gratuities. These are not included in other sailings
but are included on this special sailing.

Yes, DVC charters the whole ship so they can do what they like. We sailed last year on the DVC Member Cruise and tips were included then, too. I think the first member cruise was the only one that tips were not included, if I am not mistaken.

It is definitely a pricier cruise than others in that time period, but if you are looking for the DVC experience, there definitely is much to offer. The 2009 folks are getting ready to sail very soon...lucky folks!!
