DVC Member Cruise?

We have to plan vacations very far ahead of time.....are the Member cruises usually the same week each year? Thanks.

Yes, they are about the same time each year. The upcoming Member Cruise sails 9/12/2010 to 9/16/2010 and is sold out.

Based on the DCL schedules, I predict the 2011 Member Cruise will sail 9/18/2011 to 9/22/2011. The 2011 Member Cruise should be announced during this years cruise and go on sale around the 1st of November. The 2011 Member Cruise will be on the Disney Dream.

This is exactly what we were wondering to. We like to plan our vacations well in advance just like iloveokw. We are trying to plan a back to back cruise. We haven't been on a members cruise yet and would love to go.

They will send out a notice ahead of time, and you just have to call in and wait (it was 3 hours for me), to talk to a person and make a reservation. As said before, it sold out the same day.

no they dont. dvc member cruises is always in sep or oct during the slow time. where prices are a lot lower on a normal cruise but for the dvc member cruise the prices are higher. lots higer. they are guarantted to have a sell out ship at a premium price at the low cost season of the year.

We were on the first DVC member cruise and that was held in February. For the most part they have since been held in September, except perhaps for one other one.

Who knows what the future will bring - seems like they are happy with this time of year for chartering, probably because being at the height of hurricane season they probably save some $$.

Personally, I would like to see them vary the sail date of the Member Cruise.

I'd like to take the member cruise, but since D23 hasn't let us know about an Expo this year yet, let alone next year, it kind of makes if difficult to plan Ahh..they should depart from LA the day after the Expo ends..now that would be a great combo trip...

Since it is always in Sept --I will have to add this to my retirement years!!
Something to look forward to.....only like 15 or more years.....
