DVC Member Cruise Add-on Offers

I know the cruise is just over and people are just getting back, but I wanna know:

What were the incentives for adding-on during the cruise? Currently, they are offering bonus points and I'm thinking of doing that. Or, should I wait for the 2017 member cruise?

I don't have any of the details at hand, but as I remember, it was pretty much the same as they are offering now, with the bonus points.
