DVC Member Cruise 2008 - Leave Tomorrow

Well the time has come to head down to WDW and board the Wonder on Sunday for the 2008 DVC Member Cruise! I can hardly believe it is already here!

We will be at BWV tomorrow night and then back there Thursday after the cruise for the opening weekend of Food & Wine Festival! We will be attending our first MNNSHP as well! Very exciting!

I am looking forward to checking out the BLT models while there. I am still personally holding out for Grand Californian Villas, unless I am totally blown away by what I see at BLT.

time for me to sound like a rookie again, I was just curious about the members cruise, can someone either pm or not explain the finer details of it to me. such as do you have to use points, are there different events than a regular cruise and things such as that.

It is a 4 day cruise that DVC charters. They bring in special guests and you go to Castaway Cay twice and a day at sea. Last year we received gifts every night in our staterooms. The sail away party had added stuff, mostly introducing the special guests and such. Us DISers had several meets during and also prior to the cruise.

I have one more quiestion, I know I read where the points values were higher for the members cruise, but if you want to do the cruise and don't have any points left can you pay cash?
