Well, here is my situation... Last August while visiting the world, we took the plunge and gave a deposit and ultimately became owners. They issued us Member Cards as soon as we gave the deposit and had them ready for us at BLT where we were staying.
When we got home and all our documents arrived, there was a name spelled incorrectly. We called our guide and all the paperwork was redone and resent out to us. However when this happened we got a NEW member number---different than the one that was on our Member Cards.
In all the excitement of the paperwork, it only all came together for me about the change of numbers as I plan our trip for this upcoming weekend. I called MS and they said it will take a couple of weeks to get the cards!!!
She said we could go over to SSR and get ones issued when we get there, BUT we are staying at BCV ONLY for the weekend with no car and don't want to waste time going to SSR. I asked if the cards could be delivered to BCV and we could get them at check in with our ID... Nope she said they can't do that...
I am confused b/c they had cards sent over to BLT in August when i only gave a deposit, but now I have to go get them. I didnt lose them.... THEY spelled MY name wrong.....I was thinking of writing our REAL member number on the cards with Sharpie...would that work?
Any suggestions how to solve this or the QUICKEST way to get from BCV to SSR without wasting an entire day would be helpful. Could our guide help us with this??
