Hi,

We purchased some of the $199 DVC member 4 day/4 park tickets. When we bought them, there was a note saying that we could pick up the tickets "...by presenting a valid government-issued photo ID, confirmation number and a valid Disney Vacation Club Member ID at any ticket sales location at Walt Disney World Resort."

I was expecting that we'd need to spend some time at a Disney ticket window when we arrive to get all of this straightened out but we noticed that the tickets just magically appeared linked to our account in My Disney Experience. I figured we'd need to at least link them with the confirmation number for that to happen.

I'm wondering if anyone knows whether it will really be necessary for us to show our DVC member card / ID / whatever now that the ticket is linked? Or will we just be able to swipe our MagicBands and go when we arrive?

Thanks!

Once it's linked, I would think you'd be good to go.
To avoid this problem, and since I already have a linked ticket, I ordered a physical ticket. It came in a few days, so now I don't have to worry.

We used them in December with no problem!:)
We linked them to our Magic Bands, made our Fast Pass Selections and did not have to go to Guest Services.
I do recommend that you bring with you to the parkds "just in case" a record or the transaction number or some type of documentation as a backup!
ENJOY!:thumbsup2

I went to link my and they already showed on the magic bands in my DME account.

We bought these tickets as well...and they arrived in the form of cards, instead of the Magic Bands. How do we get the bands? We were hoping to get them instead.

MagicBands are provided free of charge to Disney Resort Guests and Annual Passholders.

Anyone else that wants a MagicBand can purchase them at WDW (starting at $12.95) or from DisneyStore.com/MagicBands.

It was EASY for our relatives who were staying off site to enter the number from their purchased Magic Bands to link the magic bands from the number on the magic band to their MDE account. I purchased the special DVC 4 day ticket on the phone from MS and they gave me a confirmation number. Since I purchased for two different families, husband and wife, I made 2 separate purchases with MS and they gave me two confirmation numbers. Each family entered their confirmation number into MDE and they were GOOD TO GO!
I suggested that they bring the confirmation number with them "in case" there was a problem. NO PROBLEM. The MB's worked at the gate!!!!:):cool1:

Were you able to make fastpass reservations for all 4 days on the first day the fastpass opened for your trip? The My Disney Experience looks different this trip for me with these tickets. The fastpass is not locked but only shows days up until the end of February.

What's your check-in date. With just park admission linked to MDE, you can make FP+ selections up to 30 days prior to day of use.

My check in date is April 17th. It seems like something is wrong on my Disney experience page. I'm hoping I can still make a fastpass for all 4 days when I hit the 60 day mark, but it doesn't look like it.

Your FP+ booking window will expand to 60 days on 2/16/2015 which is 60 days prior to your check-in date. Prior to 2/16 you are considered a day guest and have a 30 day booking window.

Ok. I feel much better now. Thank you so much for the information.:)

We had no problem at 60 days making all 4 day fastpass reservations.:goodvibes
Hope that you are successful! ENJOY!:):thumbsup2

Was there an option to have the ticket shipped to you when you purchased? Our receipt says we have to go to Will Call to pick up the tickets and present the DVC card with id etc. We are from Canada if that makes any difference.

Could I still get them shipped? We leave in 44 days.

I am hoping to get the hard tickets to use for Park Entry as my son also has a non-expiring ticket, and I want to ensure that this does not get used for park entrance. I'm thinking if we use the hard ticket to enter instead of the MB then it won't go to the account and see the other NE ticket there? I know we can ask Guest Services to prioritize but I've seen reports of this not working, and was thinking that the safest thing to do without hassle would be to use a hard ticket.

BTW... we had no problem getting FP+ at 60 day window, the tickets are showing on our MDE account.

I bought 4 of these for a family trip which now may not happen before the expiration date. Can I return them for a refund???

Mjf...be careful and ensure which ticket they took...they have used my non expiring ticket FOUR TIMES Now...what a mess. Twice when I had ten day expiring tickets and twice when I had an annual pass..I now check EVERY day I go into the park to ensure they use the annual pass only
