DVC Massachusetts Support Group

Failry new DVC members here in Quincy, MA. DH grew up in Marshfield (I'm a Colorado transplant)

2 more DVC members here from Stoughton, MA located just south of Boston between Brockton/Avon/Canton. We've been DVC owners at SSR since 2007 and love DVC. Originally I'm from Charlestown (The Town) and my wife is from Dorchester. At work I am known as a Disney nut who has drunk too much of the koolaid lol. Alas we have found that there is no one near us that has "the love" like we do, however EVERYONE I know that is contemplating or going to Disney comes to me for advice. I just saved one of my co-workers some money on 10 day non-expiring park hopper tickets by sending them to undercover tourist to get them online instead of the Disney site. Simple little things like that, people have no clue about, makes me a Disney nut in their eyes ahahah!! :cool1:

Hi All- DVC Members here. Im originally from Somerville- DH's from Cambridge. We now live in Saugus. WE love Disney and our DVC and try to travel to Orlando 1-2 a year. We're here for ya!

We live in Saugus as well. Hello DVC and Saugus neighbor!

Living in Raynham with my kiddos for the past 15 years. Lived in MA my whole life (Lynnfield, Concord - oops, 2 years in IL as a baby, but we won't count that ;))

Another wakefield addict:) Fortunately I have a good friend here in town who is just as bad:laughing:

We are from East Bridgewater....Going Oct 10-16 Kidani 2 bedroom....7 of us..
Our 35th Anniversary.....we honeymooned in 1975 at Disney World..
My wife and i go Feb and Oct every year...cant get enuff Disney....

:)Hi. We're right next door in Leominster. Our home resort is BW, just got back from 10 days at OKW. Friends and family just don't get DVC so we just have to plan trips, dispute rumors, share strategies and love for dvc on these boards.

:wave2: Lil' ole Rockland here. Always nice to talk Disney. And we get "there ARE other places to vacation than Disney" all the time. But in all fairness, I don't get why anyone would want to spend every vacation renting a cottage on the beach. DH says he's going to start saying things like..."we're going to spend some time in Italy this vacation" Not a lie. Italy in Epcot, but "our" italy. ;) .

DH and I would be up for a dismeet if schedules permit.

We live in Clinton, but our kids go to St. Leo's in Leominster. We own at AKV.

I might be in the minority here, but we have another family who we are very close to that bought into DVC a few years before us. We go on vacation about every other year with them. In addition, someone I work with is a DVC owner, and a couple more people at the office, love the World and plan to buy in.

I work in Clinton. My DS graduated from St. Leo's 2009 and my youngest DS is still there, starting 7th grade on wednesday. Summer was too short. I don't feel comfortable bringing up DVC unless someone asks. Makes me wonder how many DVC families are right next door. :):):)

We live in Douglas, MA and love Disney. The family doesn't understand the habit. ;) We go to Disney 2 times a year and take another vacation to someplace else during the year since our daughter is only 6. But you can ask her where to go for vacation.... Disney - Our happy place.

We would love to meet our families in MA/RI/CT area who understand the habit.

We just started at St. Leo's at the beginning of last year. DS went to St. Mary's in Clinton until they closed it 2 years ago. He is going into 3rd and DD is starting K this year. There are a couple of other parents in the 3rd grade that love Disney and go often, but they aren't DVC members.

Greetings from Melrose - we have some friends in town who travel with us (pay us for our points) so they are our fellow addicts..but I'm amazed at how many people responded to this post from this area (Saugus, Wakefield etc). Who knew?!

Also from Winchester (WHS '79) so hi to those folks as well!

Eastie!!
My friend bought into it and LOVES it! She took me with her and I was positive it was for me to. Bought into SSR for the longer contract. Somehow I think I will still be running around in my 90's. :rotfl: After a rough couple of years losing my mom and dad, I am determined to make happy memories for my family instead of remembering tears for so long. October will be my 3rd trip this year- with my sons! Can't take the dd out of school this year-the other ones can. Just going for a long weekend-Food and Wine and Howard Jones at Eat to the Beat. DH doesn't love it like I do but he is very happy to see me use it. He came in July-hot, I was hoping he would want to go in October just me and him, he could golf, Food and Wine, just relax-promised no commando on this trip- he kind of related it to giving birth- "let me forget about it for awhile before I have to do it again":rotfl2:

That is so funny. That is exactly how we refer to WDW as well. "Our Happy Place!" We are from Millbury and love DVC and all things Disney as well. Been a member since 2004 and love it more every day. In the almost 30 day countdown and can't wait. We would love to chat Disney anytime. We have a just 7 year old and an almost 10 year old as well.

Have a magical day!
