AOL has shut down their webpages, and I was wondering if David Fredrickson has come up with a new site to host his program and provide point updates. Anyone know anything? David, are you still here?

I haven't heard anything. I use his program as a supplement to Caskbill's program's. Actually, I think it's the other way around...my first program was Fredicson's, then I found Caskbill's. I think because Fredicson's was my first, I still use it along side Caskbill's.
There have been no updates (that I'm aware of) to Fredicson's program for quite some time.

This is exactly how I tracked points. I still have Dave's program but Caskbill's is really so much more robust that I use that to track all DVC transactions. The OP can download it at www.caskbill.com along with his planner which I also use extensively. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the link. It's great to hear he's working on an update, as I said in my earlier post, I like using Caskbills and Dave's.

My opinion only, but I use Dave Fredrickson's mostly. Because it does the planning a year or more out, and you can store all of your transactions including trips, banking and borrowing. Pluss it's easier to use. Catskill's is better for long term planning/dreaming. Again, just my opinion...........

Caskbill's DVC-Tracker and Dave's DVC Manager do the same functions. I downloaded Dave's beta and didn't care for it. I'll stick with Caskbill's programs.

There was no funny business, he simply changed Internet Service providers because AOL was ending it's hosting service......

Ohhhh thank goodness...Dave's site is my favorite and have used it for years....... glad it is still around.....

THANKS DAVE!!!!!!!!!!

Wondering if D. Fredrickson is planning on updating his program. Used to be able to email him. With the new point distribution, updating the program must be a lot of work.

Dave, will you be updating your program?? I've really enjoyed planning and using your program.

Thanks

Chris

Here is his new email: DMFredrick@Excite.com. I think..........

I've given Dave help in updating the point charts in prior years. However, I've been doing a lot of traveling this summer looking at colleges for my oldest son. That is coming to a close now so, I'll more time to lend a hand.

Thought I would bump this up for any new info.

Any idea as to when the updated version will be released?
I was so looking forward to CaskBill's update before his passing.
Looks like MouseManager is the only way to go for us BLT or VGC owners at the moment.

Email has been sent.

Went on the hunt for info on DVC Manager today because I somehow lost my 2009 charts. I went to Dave's new site and downloaded the new version of the DVC Manager and have everything up and running now! Thanks so much, Dave, for all the hard work. I love how the Banking/Borrowing area is a little more clear now. I have a new contract that I needed to add in, and now I can start playing and planning again!

Hi, this is Dave Fredrickson's 17yo son Matthew. I'm glad you like the Banking/Borrowing updates; I did them! To get some experience for college, I've taken over maintaining and updating DVC Manager. If you guys have anything you'd like to see, tell me, I'll see if I can add them in. :)

BTW, thanks for all the lunches! XD
