DVC MagicSlider Discontinued?

We got our latest MagicBands for our next stay, but they didn't include the DVC MagicSlider. It's being reports on some other sites that it's discontinued. Can anyone confirm?

We just become Annual Passholders for the first time. We were excited to be able to sport both the DVC and Passholder MagicSliders together. =p

Once you have the AP, there will be a pending MagicBand order because of the Passholder Affiliation. The Slider will be included in the package when you customize the AP MagicBands. Not sure if Guest Relations or the Park Ticket Windows at WDW have them available.

I have had an Annual Pass that is linked and just received our Magic Bands for an upcoming trip and did not receive any sliders

We didn't get an offer to even pre-order magic bands for our up-coming trip in June. I got a message on MDE that they would be waiting on us at check-in - this was the first time we weren't offered a chance to select custom colors or anything. I'm assuming they would just be the plain gray ones. I guess we'll just bring old bands from previous trips to avoid have to wear the gray ones. Anybody else not get offered the choice to pre-order bands lately?? Thoughts?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you but I was able to link my park tickets and magic bands through MDE and we were able to customize our bands. I also was able to make ADRs and buy Memory Maker from there as well. It's weird that you couldn't.

Anal Annie added another post later to say that the room reservation was not linked to MDE which is why they could not customize their MagicBands.

For some members, their DVC reservations are automatically linking to MDE. For others (like me), the reservation needs to be linked manually to MDE.

There should be an option to order them under your tickets. You will not get the slider for a room reservation. I had to request them under the ticket option.

We never got them on our last trip. Of course my family did when they traveled on my points or their points!

Do they have them at guest services at Disney Springs?
