Last I heard, Member Services was supposed to have nuts-and-bolts info about how Magical Express would work for DVC guests "in March." Since it is now March 2, anyone know if they're now answering specific questions about how the plan will work?

(And yes, I know the basics as they were outlined in the original PR release. But up until now, we haven't been able to get answers to our "what if"-type questions...)

thanks,
Bruce

I am really interested in knowing the details as well. Will DVC members be allowed to use this service?

Have any other airlines signed up to be part of this service?

Thanks.

Erika

We're at OKW right now.

Everyone we have questioned...DVC nad front desk personnel...say DVC members will be eligible for the service. However, nobody knows the details as yet.

I'm laughing at you AND me, Bruce; we obviously think the same way about these things. It's March - they should know! Sadly, a lot of times it's the other way around: as long as they know by March 31, they did indeed know "in March". ;) ;) ;)

last I heard DVC members were eligable but noone knows how you will be transported or how many resorts on a bus. We are waiting on feedback from everyone before we decide.

I am on the phone with MS right now, and Rosa tells me that they can set up Magical Express for you right now. You just need the ressie #, the names of the ppl travelling, Airline, dates, times and flight numbers. Rosa at least knows what to do; I expect the rest of them do too.

BTW, we are all eligible, provided we are staying in any on-site Disney resort. I just set DME up for my Aunt who arrived May 7th (2 days into the program); her ressie is a trade into DVC from II (an OKW 1BR), and we have DME all set up for her.

As for how many resorts would be served by each bus, we don;t know, and likely won't until it starts up. I must say that as long as it's three or fewer, I'm OK with it, since a couple of resort stops along the way still beats waiting at baggege claim, then lugging your heavy bags to your transportation option and so on... Nope, this way, we go right from the airplane to the Disney DME kiosk, check in with them, go to the appropriate bus, then off to the resort (with perhaps a stop or two); it's still easier in all likelihood.
