DVC is magical!!

Hi everybody!

I just thought I would tell you some fun news! We just became DVC members in July, and today we found out we are having TWINS! I remember others saying it helped them, and I truely believe it helped us. My DH is still in a little shock, but he will adjust. I can't wait till we can take the kids home for the first!

Congratulations and welcome home!

I remember quite well the shock of hearing the words, there are two babies! Now my babies will turn 10 the day we arrive at BWV, March 27th.

The joy of watching my girls grow and enjoy our DVC vacations can't be put into words. We leave Thursday for 9 days at OKW, and they are just as excited as our first DVC trip 5 years ago. DH asked them tonight if they would still want to go when they were 14, and they couldn't imagine going any where else.

I'll share with you the best advice I got from my pediatrician, the father of twins, "Never let them out of the stroller." We never did, and they were still in the stroller when their sister was born three years later.

LMAO! We did not have twins but did have 2 children very close in age and we did the same thing. Made life much easier and more managable, we also kept them in a playpen, playyard, walkers, swings, cribs, carseats etc as long as possible. We always gave both much attention and tons of love but it is much easier when it is 2 against 1, or even 2 against 2, to have the 2 little ones of the equation somewhat confined! LOL!!!

Wow! I haven't received a little souvenir yet, but maybe next month! If joining DVC is what it takes, we should have joined sooner! Our only turns 12 in September, and we've been trying for another for some time. I hope DVC works its magic in our direction, too!
