DVC is charging closing costs now???

I was just checking out their site and was looking at their disclaimer. It says "prices starting at $15,150 plus annual dues AND closing cost ." When did they start charging??? Is it the same cost as going through resale? I want to buy in, but I always thought it would be a little easier from disney since they just charge buy in and annual dues. Seems like I would be better off going through resale then since I could get 150 at SSR for pbbly less $ per point anyways.

If they are still running the $15 off per point, it will be fairly equal resale vs. direct if you are looking at SSR. Closing costs through Disney were a little less than $200 for my 270 point contract. TTS FAQ section lists closing costs as ranging from $400-$760.

I thought we paid closing costs on our initial contract but not on our add on.

Mine On 160 Point Contract I Just Got The Paperwork Was 198 And Some Change
